It's not. 

When you know what to do and where to look, you can get all sorts of great items -- from clothing and accessories to salon services -- for a lot less than you ever imagined.

Despite what fashion magazines would have you believe, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to dress well.  You don’t have to max out your credit cards or chose between dressing nicely and funding your retirement.  Heck, you don’t even have to moonlight at your favorite clothing store in order to get the employee discount (although that may not be a bad idea for some…).

Others aren't as confident in their choices and are easily influenced by others.  Like just when they think their closet is “good to go,” they see a list of the season’s “must haves” in a magazine or on a morning show and think everything they own is out of style.  Or, they fall hopelessly in love with one of the designer accessories that everyone in their peer group is talking about.  Or they go to the mall to buy one thing and like the sirens of old leading sailors astray, ten other things call their name, luring them down the path to fiscal disaster.

Hey, I think it’s happened to everyone at one time or another.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.  Dressing well isn’t about only wearing the latest trends or only having designer labels in your closet.  It isn’t about only wearing things once.  Nor is it about trying to fool anyone with shoddy discounts or street vendor fakes. 

It’s about knowing your style, applying it to your life, and filling your closet with clothes that take you wherever you need to go.  Nothing more, nothing less.

No more clothes hanging in your closet for months on end with the price tag still on them.  No more accruing interest on credit cards for clothes bought without a plan.  No more fighting with your husband about how much money you spent on your last trip to the mall. 

There’s no need.
